Thank you for linking the words Queer and Dharma. Reading this brings tears to my eyes and warms my heart, to see in black and white an affirmation of me, a Gay Man means so much to me. Big hugs to you and to all.

    Love and Blessings,
    Bob

  2. We have a wonderful Shambhala sangha in Adelaide, South Australia, and a strong representation in it of dharma students of fluid / alternative / non-het relational preference. I would travel to the US for a Shambhala LGBTIetc event if it was a week long, but noit just for a weekend, alas!

    Hi Bill,

I encourage you both to join the March 16 session and to speak with your local director about bringing a Queer Dharma Retreat to your neck of the woods. It’s great to hear that lots of folks over there would be interested.

I believe the March 16 session will be a more general gathering for the LGBTQ community, rather than anything specific to the program at SMC.

    Best,
    Travis

Reading this brings delight to my eyes (if not music to my ears). However, I live in Adelaide in South Australia, and can’t attend.
    1. Is it possible to join in for the March 16 session? Is this a general session or specifically Q&A for people who will be attending?
    2. Is it possible a future Queer session or program could be arranged by linkup with Adelaide and/or other Australian locations? Would either or both Acharyas be available? I can think of a number of people who would be interested. Our local Director is Loretta Geuenich. I will speak to her tomorrow.
    Thank you
